** Please understand that to ensure productive working relationships, the current Arizona REALTORS® Officers (President, President-elect, First Vice President, Treasurer, Immediate Past President, Treasurer-elect) and the Arizona REALTORS® Staff cannot take a position in support or opposition of any volunteer. Please do not solicit these individuals for referrals or recommendations.

Committee Overview

The state association has four primary committee areas: Business Technology & Communications; Legislative & Political Affairs; Professional & Business Development; and Risk Management.

In 2016, Guidelines for Primary Committee selection were approved. Members of the Executive Committee serve as liaisons to each of the four primary committees.

Each primary committee establishes work groups, committees and forums as needed.  Workgroups are formed at the request of the primary committee to perform a predetermined task. An example would be a Form Revision Workgroup tasked with updating/revising a specific Arizona REALTORS® standard form. Such a workgroup would perform its assigned task over a period of time (it could take a few months depending on the necessary revisions). Once completed, the workgroup sends its finished product back to the Risk Management primary committee for approval.

In addition to the many workgroups, the state association maintains four standing committees: Grievance, Professional Standards, REALTORS® Issues Mobilization, and REALTORS® of Arizona Political Action Committee Trustees, Legislative Committee, and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.

Arizona REALTORS® strives for diverse representation on committees, geographically and area of practice, with both agents and brokers/managers from large, medium and small firms represented. Therefore, if you are not contacted for service immediately, we encourage you to submit forms in following years.

Note: A new volunteer application form must be submitted by September 1st for each following year. If you have difficulty using the online form, use this PDF Committee Volunteer Form and submit it to volunteer@aaronline.com. iPad users will want to first download the Adobe Acrobat Reader from the iTunes Store.
