Arizona REALTORS® has been notified of an individual who is exhibiting erratic behavior while attending multiple open houses in the Prescott and Clarkdale areas. The individual, who goes by the name Eric, claims to be a potential buyer but has asked odd questions and made remarks eluding to soundproofing the home and tying people up inside the residence. The individual is a male, possibly between the ages of 18 to 24 years old, and provides a cell phone with a 512 area code. He is very slender with shoulder length dark hair. Although well-dressed, he has worn the same clothing over the span of several days. Prescott Police have been notified and REALTORS® in the area are encouraged to exercise caution and have a colleague, friend, or family member accompany them to open houses. BE AWARE, LISTEN TO YOUR INSTINCTS, AND USE GOOD COMMON SENSE.
